Hey, it's Templeton again. I wanted to talk to you a little bit about this summer. Well this summer has been INTERESTING. Well apparently the Sherman family lost one of their hamsters named Tickles. He was a white fuzzy fat hamster that was VERY energetic. In fact, they had a hamster race that one of the rounds Tickles came in FIRST place! Tickles soon died and was replaced by a hamster named Pepsi. So that is the story of Tickles. And just a week ago another hamster named Cheesy died! :[ He was a blond shy long haired hamster who passed away by WET TAIL. Cheesy was scared of thhe world, he didnt like to run around and try to escape like most hamsters would. He did have much to offer the world although. Well that is the story of Tickles and Cheesy.

Hi, my name is Pepsi, and my name is Cookiedough! Well anyways, we were adopted at a place called "Pet land." Well Cookie is about 2 he has lived through about 4 hamsters that have had wet tail! Wet tail is a sickness that mostly us teddy bear hamsters get. It's when us hamsters get dehydrated and have diarrhea and you get really sick, ya me and Cookie have gotten it. One of our fellow brothers just recently past away from it. :[ Well we have to go to sleep as you may know that we are nocturnal. Well so we'll post later, so bye!

The beggining

The beggining

Hi, my name is Templeton. I am a pet rat and I joined the Sherman family a little over a year ago, it was the beggining of a new adventure. This girl named Emily met me towards the end of the school year. She already had 3 pets at that time, but she decided 3 wasn't enough! So Emily asked my owner (a third grade teacher Mrs. Jones) if she could take me home for the summer, Mrs. Jones replyed, "sure as long as it is okay with your mom."
So Emily went home and talked to her mom, she didn't sound to exited but she thought it'll just be for the summer so she said, "I guess." Emily was soooo exited. Later that week on the last day of school, Emily her brother Luke and there mom met with Mrs. Jones. There mom was surprised to see how big I was, she thought i was going to be tiny. so that evening i went home with them. I was kind of scared for the first couple of weeks, but than i figured out that they are verey good with animals.
Later that summer they realized that they could handle more pets so the got a couple of hampsters. At the end of the summer, it was time for me to go back school. When Mrs. Jones saw me, she realized that Emily and her family took well care of, so she said that i could go home with them over the weekends. At that moment I realized that that that was only the beggining of a new adventure.

Rats

Rats

We often here people say things such as eww, or I dont like rats. But I think that they can be adorable. You just have to warm up to them and get used to them. I think rats are very smart. Our rats love attention!

Our girls, Poppy and Mint are very fun to play with, but they are really crazy. They love Tempelton, also Tempelton loves them too!

Welcome

We decided to start this blog because we would like to share stuff about our awesome pets! We have 8 pets, 7 rodents (3 rats, 2 hamsters, 2 guinea pigs) and 1 reptile(1 green anole lizard)!

Our rats names are, Poppy (female), Mint (female), Mr. Templeton (male). Our hamsters names are, Pepsi (male), and Cookiedough (male). Our guinea pigs names are, Peanut (female), Jurez (female). Our green anole lizzards name is, Booster (male).
